Huracan Energy Refund & Return Policy

At Huracan Energy, we’re committed to fairness, transparency, and delivering peace of mind to every customer. This policy outlines your rights and obligations around refunds and returns, aligned with our installation Terms and Conditions and the Australian Consumer Law.

Full Refund Eligibility – Up to 1 Business Day Before Installation

You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel up to one (1) business day before your scheduled installation. This applies regardless of whether you’ve paid a deposit, or the full contract price.

Note:

  • As part of our '51.2kWh Fully installed batteries' Solar battery promotion, Either party may terminate this Agreement for any reason up to one (1) business day before the scheduled Installation. If the customer terminates the Agreement, all amounts paid will be refunded less, including without limitation, (i) the System Design fee, (ii) any Permission-to-Connect (PTC) application fees and charges already incurred, etc., Receipts will be provided upon request.

How to Cancel:
Just send us an email at 📧 admin@huracanenergy.com.au and we’ll promptly initiate your refund. All refunds exclude any non-recoverable fees already incurred, such as:

  • System Design fees
  • Permission-to-Connect (PTC) application fees
    Receipts for incurred costs will be provided on request etc.

After Installation – No Returns for Change of Mind

Once your battery system is installed and commissioned:

  • It becomes a permanent fixture compliant with CEC and AS 5139 standards.
  • Refunds are not available due to change of mind, aesthetics, or rebate eligibility changes.

Exceptions:
If your system is faulty, we will:

  • Inspect the system through a licensed technician.
  • If a fault is confirmed (due to manufacturing or workmanship issues), we will repair or replace the equipment under warranty.
  • Cover associated labour costs during the warranty period.

All remedies are provided in accordance with:

  • The Dyness manufacturer warranty
  • The New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC)
  • Australian Consumer Law

Warranty Coverage

  • Dyness Powerbox Pro: 10-year warranty, ≥6000 cycles (LiFePO₄ chemistry, IP65 rated)
  • Dyness Powerbox G2: 10-year warranty, ≥8000 cycles (IP66 rated)

To be eligible:

  • The fault must be reported during the warranty period.
  • The system must not have been tampered with or altered.
  • We must verify the issue through an inspection.
